Outlook is where a surprising amount of maintenance work really happens. Supplier quotes arrive as attachments. OEMs send service reports by email. Contractors confirm visit dates in a reply, and approvals for spending are often just an email that says "OK, go ahead". The calendar holds shutdowns, inspections and contractor visits.
All of it is there, but spread across personal inboxes, shared mailboxes and long threads.
