Agentic CMMS

Verizon Connect MCP server

Connect Verizon Connect to Claude, ChatGPT and your other AI agents.

Connect Verizon Connect to Claude, ChatGPT and other AI agents. Ask about vehicle locations, diagnostics, driver alerts and maintenance due dates.

Verizon Connect is a fleet management platform used by field service, construction, utilities and distribution companies to track vehicles and the people who drive them. It reports GPS position, trips, engine diagnostics and driving behaviour such as speeding and harsh braking, and it reminds you when vehicles are due for service. Dispatchers and fleet managers spend their day in its map. When a question mixes several pieces, such as which overdue vans are also showing engine alerts, the map alone does not answer it.

Agentic CMMS connects Verizon Connect to Claude, ChatGPT and other AI agents. Ask about your fleet the way you would ask a colleague, and the agent pulls positions, diagnostics and reminders together into one reply.

What your AI agent can do with Verizon Connect

  • Find the nearest vehicle. "Which of our vans is closest to the hospital on Elm Road right now?"
  • Check diagnostics. "Which vehicles show an engine warning, and since when?"
  • See maintenance due. "Which vehicles are overdue for an oil change, and how far past the interval are they?"
  • Review driving behaviour. "Summarise harsh braking and speeding events per driver for the last fortnight."
  • Audit out-of-hours use. "Did any vehicle leave the depot after 20:00 this week?"
  • Measure time on site. "How long did the crew spend at the Greenfield substation on Tuesday?"
  • Track idling. "Which vehicles idled the most last month, and where did it happen?"
  • Prepare a vehicle review. "Give me mileage, warnings and overdue reminders for every van older than five years." A quick start for deciding which vehicles to replace.

Verizon Connect with your other systems

  • Send the nearest available technician to an urgent job in ServiceTitan, based on live van positions.
  • Turn overdue maintenance reminders into workshop jobs in Fleetio, with the latest mileage on each.
  • Check time on site against the hours billed for a job in Jobber, and flag visits where the two do not match.
  • Combine mileage and idle time with vehicle running costs from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for a cost per vehicle.

For field teams on the move

For businesses whose people spend the day in vans, location and vehicle health decide how much work gets done. A van with a warning light that nobody noticed becomes a missed appointment tomorrow. The agent puts both kinds of information in reach of the dispatcher and the fleet manager, together with the job and cost data that give them meaning.

Driver data is personal data, so owners and admins can limit each Verizon Connect tool to the roles that need it. Each person approves their own agent, and every query is in the tamper-evident activity log.

How it works

Live in minutes, not months

No integration project. Connect your system once, and everyone on your team brings their own agent.

  1. 1

    Connect your systems

Add your CMMS, ERP, accounting and other systems with their API keys. We check each one against the live system before anything is saved.

  2. 2

    Approve your agent

Each person adds the MCP address to Claude, ChatGPT or another agent and approves it with their own login. Read-only or read and write: their call.

  3. 3

    Ask in plain language

“What’s overdue on Line 3, and what will it cost?” The agent works across your systems for you, and every action is on the record.

FAQ

Verizon Connect and AI agents: questions, answered

Can ChatGPT tell me where our vans are in Verizon Connect?

Yes. The agent reads the latest position of each vehicle and can find the ones near an address, at a depot or out after working hours.

Can an agent see maintenance reminders from Verizon Connect?

Yes. It lists the maintenance reminders your team set up, such as oil changes by mileage or date, and shows which vehicles are due or overdue.

Who can ask an AI agent about driver behaviour data?

Only the roles your owners and admins allow. Each tool has its own role list and you can block individual people, so driver safety data stays with the managers who need it.
